Overview

What this actually involves.

Taking equipment out is where most damage happens, because it is treated as demolition rather than as the first half of an installation. We treat it as the first half of an installation.

Every component is labeled and photographed as it comes off, so whoever puts it back together, whether that is us or a manufacturer engineer at the other end, is not working from guesswork.

How we do it

Deinstallation, step by step.

01

Survey and tag

We record the installed condition, tag components and agree the teardown order with your team and the OEM if one is involved.

02

Disconnect and coordinate

Services are isolated by the appropriate trade. Cryogen, radioactive sources and hazardous materials are handled by the specialist vendor, not by us.

03

Teardown and label

The unit comes apart in the planned sequence. Each part is labeled, photographed and matched to the inventory.

04

Crate and load

Components are crated or blanket wrapped, loaded in the order they will be needed at the far end, and the room is cleared.

Questions

Deinstallation, answered.

Do you handle cryogens on an MRI?

We coordinate the work and schedule around it, but the cryogen handling itself is done by your magnet vendor or a licensed specialist. That is the correct and safe division of the work.

Can you dispose of equipment we are retiring?

We can deinstall and remove it, and take it to your nominated disposal or resale route. Certified disposal of any hazardous component stays with a licensed handler.

What documentation do we get?

A condition report from before teardown, the labeled component inventory and the photo record. That set is what makes a clean reinstall possible later.
